Orquestra Sinfônica de João Pessoa é convidada para Festival do Sesc, em Areia, nesta sexta-feira

A Orquestra Sinfônica Municipal de João Pessoa foi convidada a realizar o IV Concerto Oficial da Temporada 2024 – ‘Uma noite na Ópera’, nesta sexta-feira (31), no Festival do Sesc, que acontece na Praça Central, no município de Areia. A apresentação começa às 20h, sob a regência do maestro Nilson Galvão.

“Nós participamos desse festival em Areia celebrando, com a nossa Orquestra Sinfônica Municipal, uma orquestra que tem músicos e musicistas de excelente qualidade artística e estética. O nosso maestro, com uma capacidade imensa de manter o coeso, integrado em torno da música”, iniciou o diretor executivo da Funjope, Marcus Alves.

E emendou: “Agradeço ao pessoal do Festival do Sesc por ter nos convidado. Seguramente, quem estiver presente, vai ter uma noite belíssima. A Orquestra vem dando um histórico forte de apresentações em João Pessoa, sobretudo, as nossas apresentações no Museu de São Francisco, mas também grandes contribuições nos espetáculos que temos montado, a exemplo do Natal, dos espetáculos da Companhia Municipal de Dança. Então, é uma Orquestra de excelência. O público de Areia vai realmente gostar e é muito bom que estejamos presentes, performando de forma tão bonita nesse festival”, acrescentou.

Durante o concerto, os músicos farão um passeio por algumas óperas famosas, tocando trechos instrumentais ou levando a palavra na voz da soprano paraibana Izadora Chacon, que é convidada.

O concerto começa com uma das óperas mais aclamadas de Mozart, a ópera Don Giovanni. Na sequência, ainda de Mozart, serão duas árias: Porgi amor (Dar amor) da ópera As Bodas de Fígaro. A segunda ária é or sai chi l’onore (Agora você saberá o que é honra) da ópera Don Giovanni.

Já Tosca é uma ópera de Giacomo Puccini em estilo de melodrama que se passa em Roma. Da mesma ópera, os músicos vão executar a ária Vissi d’arte (Vivi da arte).

Durante o concerto, será tocada também a ópera La Traviata, de Verdi. Em seguida, vem O Prelúdio, Sempre libera (Sempre Livre); a ópera Cavalleria Rusticana, do compositor italiano Pietro Mascagni, e o número Intermezzo, que é instrumental.

O público vai presenciar também a ópera Madama Butterfly, de Puccini e a ária Un bel di vedremo (Um belo dia nos veremos); La Gazza Ladra (A pega ladra), ópera escrita pelo compositor italiano Rossini; Gianni Schicchi e a ária O mio babbino caro (Oh, paizinho querido).
