A edição 20/21 teve como campeão o CRUZ AZUL. Assim sendo, o time venceu o SANTOS LAGUNA, vice-campeão. Na edição 21/22 a disputa também acontecerá em forma de APERTURA E CLAUSURA, ou seja, primeira a segunda fases do Campeonato Mexicano.
